My story and colorful inspiration
Welcome to All the colours art studio, based in Nanaimo, British Columbia. I tend to celebrate celestial wonders, shimmering fabrics, and whimsical themes designed to awaken emotion, spark joy, and invite magic into every home.

A night of dancing light in Nanaimo
Two and a half years ago, my husband Kerry and I walked down to the water’s edge late one evening and witnessed something extraordinary: the Aurora Borealis glowing right here in Nanaimo. The sky came alive with dancing ribbons of green, pink, purple, and white. I was in complete awe—I could feel the vibrant energy and could even hear the quiet hum of the night. Working in a fabric store where I had recently unpacked rolls of shimmering silk brocade, I instantly had a vision of translating that celestial experience into tactile textile art. On an ironing board in my tiny craft room, my very first tapestry was born. Today, my art studio has evolved into my absolute favourite sanctuary of creativity.

Chasing celestial wonders, warmth, and whimsy
The natural world holds endless mysteries that captivate the imagination. I have always felt deeply connected to the moon and guided by its quiet mystery. In harmony with the moon sits the sun—its vibrant counterpart that fuels life and radiates essential warmth. Alongside the spellbinding Northern Lights, these recurring motifs weave mysticism, sparkle, and fanciful magic into every piece. My wish is simple: to infuse that same warmth, brightness, and uplifting smile into your personal living space through hand-crafted, colourful textile art.

Art created for everyone to feel
I firmly believe that art is deeply personal, accessible, and meant for everyone—across all ages, walks of life, backgrounds, and identities. You never need to be an artist or an art expert to appreciate beauty. If standing before a piece makes you feel something—whether that emotion is happiness, gentle nostalgia, curiosity, or wonder—then it has fulfilled its purpose. Browse our gallery, find a piece that speaks to your spirit, reach out with questions, and share the joy of colour with those you love.
"If you look at something, and it makes you feel—happy, sad, familiar, or full of wonder—that's art, and I've done my job."
